Requirements:

• Graduation and University degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Informatics or similar studies
• Minimum 5 years of international, practical experience in IT project and IT demand management in major, multi-functional organizations
• Experience in managing of considerable projects, being disciplinary and/ or functional lead
• Fluency in English
• Professional specialization in IT Service Management, ITIL, IT Infrastructure, IT Architecture, general understanding of IT application infrastructure
• Planning and organizational talent
• Analytical skills and accuracy
• Problem solving competence, flexibility, capability to define precisely complex situations and issues

Responsibilities:

Based on his/her functional and technical expertise and background the IT Project Manager manages complex IT projects with high impact on business processes and business continuity. He/she assumes the responsibility for project delivery within agreed time and budget. The IT Project Manager is entrusted with projects in specific functional areas (e.g. HR IT, Finance IT, Procurement IT) or cross-functional areas (e.g. IT infrastructure). Based on his/her knowledge the IT Project Manager manages (international) projects from first conceptual ideas to production rollout. He/she coordinates all relevant parties and stakeholders inside and outside the organization. He/she instructs the assigned staff functionally or disciplinary.

• Manage the project from first planning stage to go live
• Ensure the proper planning of IT projects (time, budget, resources) in alignment with business needs and other IT projects (GBS IT project portfolio)
• Manage IT projects on a daily basis inclusive taking countermeasures in case of deviation
• Manage risks regarding time, budget, resources and project scope proactively
• Take responsibility for project results as well as the optimized usage of project resources
• Ensure proper project documentation
• Reporting
• Ensure efficient cooperation and alignment with stakeholders in other organizations and locations
