What we are looking for:

• Academic degree, preferably in Business Management, Data Science, Information Systems or comparable field
• 3-5 years of experience in the areas of digital transformation, data management, or process management
• Experience with data process design and data process management
• Sound understanding of the concepts of data quality, data lifecycle and data management
• Very good command of English
• Quick analytical thinker with very strong conceptual skills and a strategic mindset
• Team player who puts the team’s interests above their own, works across boundaries in a selfless manner, and demonstrates a flexible and adaptive approach with a “can-do” attitude
• Ability to communicate successfully at all hierarchical levels

What you will do:

You will be responsible for implementing data quality governance and a framework for finance data across the organisation. This includes developing pragmatic and compliant approaches to access control and data sharing, given the confidential nature of most of the data.

• Develop innovative ideas on how financial data can be leveraged more effectively in Group management
• Collaborate with Group standardisation bodies on new data quality and governance frameworks, providing crucial input on finance data specifics to be considered
• Identify stakeholders affected by new data governance frameworks and roles, and ensure their onboarding and the rollout of new policies
• Advise data owners, data scientists, business analysts and project teams on data quality and governance topics
• Take on roles such as Project Manager or PMO in finance data projects
• Ensure data quality is top of mind across all data domains, make it measurable, and establish a continuous data quality improvement cycle
• Drive the implementation of cross-domain initiatives (e.g. data catalogue)
• Contribute to and ensure regular communication of initiatives and results
• Actively network with colleagues in the data community
