What we are looking for:

  • University degree, preferably in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Business Law, or Data Analytics
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in procurement or other negotiation-intensive role and several years of project management experience
  • Relevant experience and deep understanding of license and/or data contracts, models and pricing schemes and current trends
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills and a results-orientated work ethic with the ability to resolve conflicts
  • IT and/or Procurement background
  • Ability to confidently work in English language
  • German language would be a great asset
  • Legal knowledge, especially in contract management might be an advantage


In your new job you will:

  • Be responsible for the commercial management and strategic procurement processes in the central License and Data Procurement team of the Lufthansa Group
  • Establish and develop purchasing strategies, including market analysis, assessing the number of potential suppliers, and evaluating alternatives to products and services
  • Develop and handle professional supplier management through the whole cycle: supplier qualification and onboarding (supplier development, master data management, claim management, risk management, relationship management, etc.)
  • Lead complex multi-million value tenders on the market with evaluation of offers, shortlisting, supplier presentations and contract negotiations
