Requirements:

  • Min. 10 years of experience in Electrical engineering of Basic, FEED, EPC projects, preferably for chemical and refinery plants
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with codes and standards such as NEC, IEC, ISO, and CE
  • Installation and Commissioning experience, preferably from chemical /refinery plants
  • Inspection /FAT/SAT experience
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Expert knowledge of MV/LV power distribution and Single line diagrams, load list preparation
  • Experience in Hazardous area compliance, classification and applications
  • Versatile experience in making and checking of electrical layouts i.e cable tray/trench, lighting, earthing, electrical & control building layouts, cable routing etc.
  • Experience in preparation of cable schedule, termination schedule, BOM, instrument Hook-ups, instrument datasheets etc.
  • Experience in Power system studies (ETAP)
  • Coordination and techno-commercial knowledge of evaluation of vendor offers, create TBE
  • Knowledge of project quality assurance procedures/compliances


Responsibilities:

  • FAT/SAT and commissioning of electrical equipments and Instrumentation&Electrical hardware packages
  • Preparing and checking electrical engineering deliverables like single line diagrams, control schematics, monitoring and protection diagrams, and interconnection diagrams, cable sizing, routing, and installation drawings, etc.
  • Utilizing your knowledge of hazardous area classifications to prepare data sheets and classification drawings, ensuring safety and compliance
  • Reviewing layouts, electrical schemes, and design drawings during the technical evaluation stage, ensuring compliance with project specifications
  • Preparing scope of work and technical specifications for electrical subcontracts and RFQ packages for power supply units, transformers, and electrical materials
  • Performing electrical calculations using tools like ETAP, including load flow, short circuit, motor studies, and harmonic studies
  • Site advisory responsibilities related to business travelling
