What we are looking for:

Master/Bachelor degree in business administration with focus on financial accounting or finance, tax
Proven track record of at least 3 years in finance and accounting
Highly familiar with accounting rules according to German HGB
ACCA studies will be an asset
Very good English skills
Good German skills will be an asset
Experience with SAP FI
Very good Excel knowledge
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
Excellent collaboration skills
Diligent, independent and systematic approach to work
Analytical and conceptual mindset

Responsibilities:

Process Management

Advising business units on statutory closing regulations for daily operations and projects
Developing recommendations on asset capitalization and provisions/accruals formation
Evaluating balance sheet-related business issues
Assessing the impact of new accounting standards on the balance sheet and P&L
Preparing accounting information for group-wide consolidated statements

Business Communication Management

Serving as a key contact for auditors and central accounting/tax/treasury departments
Building positive relationships with various stakeholders from Financial Services
Preparation and/or presentation of reports/data summary for various stakeholders within Lufthansa Group

Project Management

Participating in LH Group-wide accounting projects and ERP platform implementation
Leading own projects in the financial area
