Requirements:

• Master/Bachelor degree in Economics, Information Technology or similar
• Min. 2-3 years of experience in Procurement
• Extensive process and project management skills
• Very good English skills
• Good German skills (min. B2)
• Very good command of MS Office
• Practical knowledge of SAP will be an asset
• Knowledge of Procurement related tools will be an asset
• Analytical and conceptual mindset

Responsibilities:

The Procurement Senior Specialist will be supporting the Fuel Purchase Managers in all aspects especially for annual fuel tenders per location. The Fuel Purchasing team tenders the fuel demand on 300-400 individual airport locations globally following an all-year tender schedule for all airlines in the Group. The scope of tasks covers for example the preparation (data gathering and assessment of location specifics, creation of tender documents) as well all post tender activities (i.e. entering price, payment etc. data into the central Fuel+ application, creating managing the signature process of respective Location Agreements, complete checklists and provide for the audit proof documentation).  He/she is also responsible to check the adherence to the negotiated terms by designing and running appropriate Fuel+ reports as well as supporting in supplier and contract management activities. 

• The Procurement Senior Specialist will be an integral part of the Fuel Purchasing team (Hamburg). Together with a colleague, he/she will conduct fuel tenders and complete all related and required administrative tasks (operational processes).
• Ensure the relevant information flows/data quality/business rules also to associated and related functions (i.e. fuel accounting team)
• Support projects and campaigns/initiatives around fuel purchasing.
• Drive the completeness and robustness of price/contract data in the applicable applications (mainly Fuel+)
• Perform routine tasks such as clarification of invoices and discrepancies
• Perform other tasks defined by supervisor and Fuel Purchase team
