Requirements:

• Experience in the SSC/BPO industry in the area of Procurement
• Experience in leading a team (either functionally or disciplinarily)
• Procurement Governance/Sustainability and respective processes knowledge
• Experience in driving agile projects
• Knowledge of process improvement and standardization methodology and tools such as Lean management, Kaizen, Six Sigma
• Practical knowledge of Process Automation / Procurement department specific tools & applications e.g SRM Tools
• Fluent English
• Very good German (min. B2)
• Very good command of MS office (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong co-operation and communication skills
• Negotiation skills
• Highly independent and systematic approach to work

Responsibilities:

The Procurement Manager will be in charge for the scope of tasks from the field of process management, governance, sustainability, integration of processes and cross company requirements. He/ she is responsible for internal and external interfaces of the department, manages projects or works in projects. He/ she will also lead team from the disciplinary perspective. Procurement Manager promotes teamwork, provides employees with coaching and feedback for a small/medium size team and networks with other functions. He/she shall be part of the governance community core team.

• Managing projects in the fields of process designing, process improvement and process migrations
• Managing projects in the fields of procurement governance/sustainability
• Leading team of senior specialists from the area of Data Analytics, Process Management and Supplier Qualification
• Definition, set-up and responsibility for smooth operations for supplier qualification
• Defining and designing of cross-corporate requirements for steering, measuring and optimizing of end to end processes
• Definition and improvement of business, governance and sustainability
• Process steering and documentation, process and compliance audit as well as benchmarking
• Redesigning, harmonizing, automatizing and development of cross-company processes with the aim to increase the efficiency and standardization
• Formulation of the requirements coming from process changes and compliance requirements
• Being an escalation instance for his/her area of responsibility
• Controls budget realization in the area of his/her responsibility
• Assures adherence to process design and standards set
• Ensures consistent usage of methodology & tools
• Sets and manages realistic and manageable targets
• Understands the needs of the client and balances them with all process parties, manages business partner satisfaction
• Training and participation in events, enable functional change management processes and support of department management
• Leads and motivates multi-functional teams in dispersed or complex environments as well as teaches and coaches his/her direct reports
