What we are looking for:

• University Diploma (finance & accounting or controlling, business administration, economics, business informatics or similar)
• Min. 5 years of relevant professional experience in controlling, financial accounting or reporting in a group
• Solid knowledge of IFRS or/and local GAAP regulations
• Experience in standardization and other controlling or accounting-related change processes
• Project management experience in finance will be an asset
• MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint) and SAP skills
• Knowledge of BI tools will be an asset
• Fluent English skills
• A high degree of commitment and initiative
• Ability to quickly build credibility and trust within the organization
• High level of problem-solving competence as well as pronounced analytical and conceptual skills
• Team player within international, cross-functional teams
• Strong customer orientation

In your new job you will:

• Make a significant contribution to the design of the Lufthansa Group financial data standards
• Be a part of a highly motivated Finance Transformation Project Team with the task of establishing a new, standardized and group-wide applicable external and internal accounting and controlling system
• Play a major role in developing of modern data standards for internal and external reporting
• Work closely with controlling and accounting, use business management methods and establish innovative solutions for complex data structures, including the use of business intelligence
• Work closely with IT to implement a unified IT landscape (S/4 HANA)
• Be the specialist contact for the Group companies and the central finance departments of controlling, taxes, finance and accounting
• Be among the members of a newly set up Finance Transformation Project Team shaping a spirit of cross-functional collaboration, mutual support and focused on creating the aspired solution
