Our client is a leading global provider of supply chain solutions and warehouse technology, operating in over 100 countries worldwide.

In 2020, the company established a Finance and Accounting Shared Services Center in Kraków, supporting processes such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Banking, General Ledger, and Reporting.

Due to ongoing business growth, our client is currently expanding its Kraków team and looking for accounting professionals to join the organization.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a people management role
  • Experience working in a Shared Services environment, preferably in a complex and high-volume organization
  • Solid knowledge of payment and banking processes within finance, with proven experience in process improvement
  • Good working knowledge of SAP Financials and MS Excel
  • Fluent English
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive approach and a strong focus on continuous improvement
  • Interest in new technologies and openness to exploring new ways of working
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with international and cross-cultural teams


Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily Payment and Banking operations and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Set team goals, organize workloads, manage working time, and monitor progress against agreed targets and SLAs
  • Monitor team performance and quality, analyze KPIs, and take corrective actions when needed
  • Lead, motivate, and develop team members through regular 1:1s, feedback, coaching, and performance reviews
  • Support employees in achieving their individual goals and create development plans based on their needs and performance
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions in line with company procedures and service level requirements
  • Identify process inefficiencies and lead initiatives aimed at improving quality, productivity, and operational efficiency
  • Promote and implement best practices, including compliance with Intercompany policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and supervise process improvement activities within the team and measure their impact
  • Work closely with the company's GPO on process optimization and standardization initiatives
  • Participate in international projects and cross-functional initiatives, supporting business priorities and organizational changes
  • Provide regular performance feedback and create an environment that supports continuous learning and professional development
