What we are looking for:

• 3-5 years of experience in the areas of digital transformation, data management, or process management
• Master’s degree in ex: Business Management, Data Science, Information Systems or comparable
• Understanding of the concepts of data quality, data lifecycle and data management
• Experience with process design and process management
• Quick analytical thinker with very strong conceptual skills and a strategic mindset
• Team player, working across boundaries in a selfless manner
• Flexible and adaptive approach with “can do” attitude
• Ability to communicate successfully at all hierarchical levels
• Very good spoken and written English skills

In your new job you will:

Are you ready to shape data governance for highly confidential finance data? Do you want to ensure that Lufthansa Group management, data analysts & scientists have access to the highest quality data to make decisions?

You will be responsible for implementing the Lufthansa Group data quality governance and framework for finance data, managed at LGBS. This includes developing pragmatic and compliant approaches for access control and data sharing, given the confidential nature of most of the data.

• Collaborate with Lufthansa Group standardization teams on new frameworks on data quality and governance
• Providing crucial input on finance-data specifics
• Identify LGBS stakeholders, which are connected with new data governance framework and roles, ensure their onboarding and rollout of new policies
• Consult LGBS data owners, data scientist, business analysts and projects on data quality and governance topics
• Acting as project manager, or PMO, in finance data projects
• Ensure data quality is “top of mind” in all data domains, make quality measurable, and establish a continuous data quality improvement cycle
• Drive implementation of cross-domain topics, e.g. data catalogue
• Develop innovative ideas on how financial data can be used even better in the management of the Group
• Contribute and ensure regular communication of initiatives and results
• Actively network with colleagues in the Lufthansa Group data community
