What we are looking for:

  • SAP Technology knowledge (preferably SAP SRM, SAP FI)
  • Min. 3 years of practical experience in supporting and managing SAP applications in the procurement or logistics environment
  • Experience in customizing and conceptual design of SAP solutions
  • Good knowledge of procurement environment
  • Good understanding of procurement data flows and processes
  • Experience in project management
  • Practical knowledge of change management
  • Min. good English skills
  • Very good German skills
  • Excellent communication skills

In your new job you will:

  • Manage applications and services within the SAP landscape with focus on SAP SRM, SAP FI and some non-SAP applications in the procurement and logistics area 
  • Be responsible for respective Procurement systems stability
  • Be focus on cooperation within all Procurement departments
  • Proactively proceed with incidents and issues within Procurement
  • Manage the lifecycle of IT-products and ensure alignment to IT strategy and IT architecture guidelines
  • Change-, Release and Deployment Management
  • Requirement and Change Management; Technical requirements analysis and evaluation / transfer to external IT providers
  • Develop concepts, implementation plans and operation models, mainly for procurement applications
  • Be responsible for the IT demand management and operation of business applications
  • Gather functional/business requirements for new and/or enhanced business applications
  • Proactively develop and propose solution concepts for new business applications meeting company needs in cooperation with technical experts, business departments and solution providers
  • Assess technical solution alternatives (infrastructure, applications etc.) and develop recommendations together with technical experts
  • Plan and coordinate the implementation of new solutions
  • Be responsible for provider management
  • Financial and license (subscription) management
  • Be responsible for IT governance (security, risk, strategy, architecture)
  • Manage and support projects in the field of procurement and logistics IT (e.g. international roll-out of solutions, IT harmonization projects, implementation of new functionalities)
