What we are looking for:

  • Academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Min. 7 years of professional experience in full accounting/finance
  • Very good knowledge of Polish Accounting Act and tax regulations
  • Experience in statutory reporting and cooperation with external auditors and public authorities
  • Experience in people management will be an asset
  • Vey good command of English
  • Excellent computer literacy, especially in MS Office and visualization tools
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to details
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to quickly form working relationships, gain credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-driven and proactive with business maturity


Responsibilities:

  • Oversees full-cycle accounting for the Krakow entity, including preparation of financial statements in compliance with local statutory requirements.
  • Ensures accurate and timely reporting to local authorities and the Group
  • Oversees month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
  • Ensures compliance with local regulations and reporting obligations towards authorities
  • Maintains full alignment with international regulations and internal Group policies
  • Interacts with banks, tax advisors, internal and external auditors, and regulatory authorities
  • Designs, implements, and maintains accounting processes and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Drives continuous improvement and standardization of accounting processes through automation, efficiency gains, and quality enhancement
  • Cooperates closely with controlling operations to ensure alignment between accounting and financial planning
  • Ensures accurate tracking and reporting of actual costs and financial results in cooperation with the controlling team
  • Ensures that financial documentation, policies, and procedures are up to date and proactively communicates relevant regulatory and policy changes to stakeholders
  • Leads and develops the small accounting team, sets objectives, monitors performance, ensures high quality, and supports continuous professional development.
