As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and enhancement of our global IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for routine tasks and strategic projects aimed at optimizing our technology environment. Your role will require a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of infrastructure components, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

What we are looking for:

• Academic graduate (e.g. IT or similar)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience in leading infrastructure projects from conception to completion
• Familiarity with security best practices, including data protection, access controls, and vulnerability management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively within a global team environment
• Willingness to adapt to new technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve the IT infrastructure
• A meticulous approach to infrastructure management, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all tasks and documentation
• Experience in working with diverse, multinational teams and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities of global IT infrastructure management

In your new job you will:

• Conduct regular checks, monitor system performance and ensure the stability and reliability of servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components. Support local IT teams with their requests
• Respond to and resolve infrastructure-related incidents, including troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime. Provide end user support in project orientated activities
• Lead or participate in infrastructure projects, including design, implementation, and documentation, to enhance the overall IT infrastructure
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure that infrastructure components comply with company policies and industry standards. Implement security measures and monitor for potential vulnerabilities
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical business data and ensure business continuity
• Engage with technology vendors, evaluate solutions, and manage vendor relationships to ensure effective delivery of products and services
• Assess current and future infrastructure needs, forecast requirements and make recommendations for capacity expansions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all infrastructure configurations, changes, and procedures
• Collaborate with IT teams and provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues for end-users
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains in infrastructure management
