Requirements:

  • Technical college degree in Electrical/Electronic or in mechatronics
  • Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronic or in mechatronics would be an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in testing, preferably in validation within the automotive or related industry
  • Fluency in English
  • Familiarity with test equipment: Climatic chamber, Digital Muli-Meter (DMM), Power Supply, oscilloscopes, generators, dynometer and etc.
  • Proven ability by professional experience to execute electrical rack cabling works
  • Proven knowledge in industrial Electrical standards
  • Experience with basic circuit design
  • Travel is required, at the initial stage for extended period of time. Then, up to 5% of the time

Responsibilities:

  • Build / assemble specific validation test racks and associated equipment’s
  • Responsible for validation test setup and test execution
  • Utilize and maintain automated monitoring system to guarantee in specifications test execution as well as peripheral systems to operate Part under test (load racks, harnesses, chillers, HV racks...)  
  • Follow equipment calibration and preventive / reactive maintenance programs as laboratory representative
  • Apply and keep up-to-date all safety guidelines
  • Responsible for test raw data
  • Be involved in continuous improvement and maintenance of the validation test equipment
