Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in direct procurement, preferably in a global or multinational organization.
  • Hands-on experience in direct / CAPEX procurement and managing purchasing processes end-to-end.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills, with a focus on achieving competitive terms and conditions.
  • Experience in supplier selection, RFQs, contract negotiation and supplier performance management.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams, internal stakeholders and international suppliers.
  • Good understanding of procurement processes and commercial documentation.
  • Proficiency in SAP, procurement systems and Excel or other analytical tools.
  • Proactive, structured and solution-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Good command of English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in service and maintenance procurement, including spare parts.
  • Experience in the chemical, refining, engineering or technical industry.
  • Experience working in EPC environments or on EPC projects.

 


Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day procurement activities, from RFQ and quotation evaluation through negotiation, purchase order placement and delivery follow-up.
  • Select and manage suppliers in line with business requirements, purchasing procedures and agreed commercial conditions.
  • Act as a key procurement contact for internal stakeholders, technical teams and suppliers.
  • Conduct RFQs, evaluate offers and negotiate prices, terms and conditions with suppliers.
  • Manage supplier relationships and follow up on supplier performance, delivery dates and quality requirements.
  • Monitor order and delivery status, identify potential supply issues and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support commercial negotiations and identify opportunities for cost savings and improved purchasing conditions.
  • Prepare and manage procurement documentation, contracts and purchase orders, including high-value commitments where required.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure timely purchasing decisions.
  • Support the improvement of procurement processes, systems and purchasing tools.
  • Share knowledge and support colleagues in day-to-day procurement activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
