Lufthansa Global Business Services (LGBS) operates as an international organization with a worldwide delivery structure providing business services in the areas of Finance, HR, Revenue Accounting, Management Reporting and Procurement for entire Lufthansa Group.

Krakow Center is the main hub for the delivery organization including also central functions for the group companies covering both standard as well as customized processes for airline business. Besides operations, Krakow Center has also teams specialized in Process Management, Migration Support, Knowledge Management and Continuous Improvement.


Requirements:

  • Min. 2 years of professional experience in IT procurement, Vendor Management or related function
  • Very good knowledge of IT contracts, terms and regulations, legal aspects
  • Good IT knowledge and overview about current IT technologies
  • Fluent English both in writing and verbally
  • Basic German skills in writing and verbally (min. A2)
  • Very good communication and analytical skills


Responsibilities:

As a Key Supplier Manager, you will lead the Supplier Management Process (SRM) for the strategic IT Supplier for single or multiple business units within the Lufthansa Group for various types of IT services (software, hardware, consulting, maintenance, application operation and standard licenses).

 

  • All commercial aspects (e.g. Change Request Management and external obligations)
  • Contractual & legal aspects (Contract- & Claim-Management – incl. Contract Extensions) together with Corporate  Legal and Claim Management
  • Ensure strategic and operative IT Requirements through the „supply base“ (strategic Suppliers)
  • Performance Monitoring (e.g. KPI, SLA, Supplier Performance together with technical Vendor Management), ensure usage of Supplier-Innovation (e.g. new technologies / solutions)
