Field Service Engineer (BESS) Ref. No: 8386

Our Client is leading developer from BESS sector in UK. Due to their new investment in northern Poland we are looking for Field Service Engineers responsible for maintaining Energy Storage System. 

Region: Warszawa , mazowieckie

Requirements:

  • Qualification in an electrical/electro-mechanical discipline is a must 
  • Previous electrical or multi skilled maintenance experience
  • Working experience with BESS would be an asset
  • Very good English (at least B2)
  • Basic IT skills (MS Office, IP and software for troubleshooting)
  • Strong understanding of IT related subjects, CMD, remote desktop connections, networking (subnet, VLANs, static IP/DHCP), MODBUS/TCP protocols would be an asset
  • Working knowledge of HV/LV power electronics including inverters/converters/ Transformers would be an asset
  • Previous HVAC training and F-Gas qualification would be an asset
  • Familiar with BS7671, C&G2391-5 Test & Inspect or equivalent, HV authorised person  – would be an asset
  • Qualification of working on-site safely
  • Driving licence (cat. B)
  • Availability for business travel with overnight stay

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Energy Storage Systems to a high standard by carrying out regular inspection and maintenance, annual capacity tests, trouble shooting and reactive maintenance works
  • Perform system software and firmware upgrades
  • Monitor operation performance monitoring and data assessment
  • Provide phone support and remote diagnostics to customers
  • Troubleshoot equipment located at BESS sites
  • Manage spare parts
  • Responsible for safety work complying with local safety regulations and safety standards
  • Conduct risk assessment and implement safety measures
  • Update of any administrative duties (timesheets, daily vehicle checks and providing daily job logs describing issues and actions taken during service trips)
  • Assist the in-house system engineering group in product development and/or project work
  • Provide suggestions to improve the products
