Requirements:

  •  Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline
  • Proven experience in leading engineering or test teams
  • At least 8 years of experience as a System or Software Test Engineer
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong background in planning, organizing, and coordinating testing activities
  • Confident in presenting results and technical topics to customers and stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze functional and design specifications to develop comprehensive test cases in line with ASPICE guidelines
  • Experience creating HIL/eDyne-based test plans and test cases derived from system requirements
  • Practical knowledge of tools such as CANoe, CANape, TraceTronic ECU-Test, NI LabVIEW, NI VeriStand, TestStand, Diagra, ETAS INCA, ControlDesk NG, and Plastic SCM/Bitbucket
  • Proficient in C and Python; familiarity with MATLAB Simulink/Simscape is a plus
  • Experience using test management and requirements tools like Polarion, DOORS, and JIRA
  • Knowledge of automotive process standards including ASPICE, ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), and Cybersecurity practices
  • Domain expertise in electric drives, transmissions, BMS, or vehicle dynamics is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the EU or internationally


Responsibilities:

The System Test Lead oversees testing and validation activities for hybrid and electric vehicle programs, ensuring reliable performance of key components such as inverters, motors, e-transmissions, and other BEV systems using HIL and eDyne. The role collaborates with global, cross-functional teams to secure seamless system integration and high product quality.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead all Verification and Validation (V&V) activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Define and maintain detailed test strategies and plans for each release and production phase
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee system, software, and hardware test execution
  • Track and communicate V&V progress to internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent the testing function in customer meetings and manage both internal and external escalations
  • Own and deliver V&V status reports and release documentation to customers
  • Prepare and execute release testing and compile summary reports
  • Ensure compliance and readiness for process and quality audits
  • Adhere to established defect tracking and root cause analysis procedures
  • Monitor and report software and hardware issues, ensuring timely resolution
  • Manage the budget and planning of test equipment required for the project
