Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Procurement/Buyer role and in global sourcing practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Solid experience in Logistics/Freight procurement, including sea, road, air, courier, and rail transportation
  • Strong negotiation skills with a well-developed commercial mindset
  • High competence in contract management and supplier agreements
  • Good understanding of commercial and financial principles (e.g. Incoterms, tendering processes, supplier evaluations)
  • Experience working with SAP and procurement systems
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
  • Ability to clearly communicate procurement value and build strong stakeholder relationships across the organization
  • Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset


Responsibilities:

  • Execute sourcing projects and deliver results aligned with business and category objectives (Logistics Category)
  • Partner with Category Managers to ensure sourcing activities follow overall category strategies
  • Support Global Procurement mission, KPIs, and category targets, including sustainability and process quality
  • Drive competitive sourcing and identify alternative suppliers where relevant
  • Contributes actively to category strategy development and execution. Analyzes spend, supplier performance, market trends, and KPIs to support fact-based decisions
  • Builds productive supplier relationships and ensures appropriate follow-up using relevant tools and templates
  • Leads complex tactical and strategic negotiations independently, structures agreements, applies contract terms appropriately
  • Ensures efficient execution of day-to-day purchasing activities, including PO flow and transactional support
  • Monitors contract compliance, supplier performance, and contractual obligations through structured follow-up
  • Identifies, assesses, and mitigates procurement risks to ensure supply continuity, compliance, and responsible business conduct
  • Uses cost modelling and data analysis to assess lifecycle cost, identify cost drivers and risks, and support savings tracking and value-based decisions
  • Supports continuous improvement, standardization, and optimization of procurement practices
