What do you need to have?
A proven track of 5 or more years of experience in similar role in other organization
Extensive knowledge of RTR accounting, reporting and analysis
Understanding and experience of standard accounting concepts, practices and procedures including compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Experience in RTR process design, optimization, standardization, improvements
Lean or Six Sigma Certification is a plus
Capability of directing the resolution of complex or unusual business problems
Ability to analyse financial and operating statistics and provide meaningful feedback
Highly motivated, deadline driven, and ability to communicate effectively
Comfortable working with senior leadership
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with high volume activities and changing priorities
What will you be responsible for?
In this role, you will report to the Record-To-Report Global Process Owner and design and implement the best-in-class RTR processes for Dyson Finance organization.
Reviewing existing processes, structures, and systems with a focus on simplifying and standardizing them
Taking full ownership of process design and implementation with a focus on reducing process costs and maximizing investment returns
Establishing clear and concise Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for processes, monitoring and performing root cause analysis to ensure process performances are as expect
Establishing clear Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Reverse SLA (RSLA) and ensure that clear communication to stakeholders and that teams are able to deliver on them
Constantly assessing opportunities for improvement and determine means to implement new and innovative technical and process based solutions.
Overseeing the preparation of schedules and account analyses as requested by internal and external auditors to satisfy internal control requirements and minimize external audit fees
Improving internal control environment to more efficiently monitor transaction risk and financial exposure
Reviewing and signing-off on Desk Top Procedures (DTP) on a regular basis
Overseeing transition ensuring work is transitioned timely and in line with expectations
Being involved in ensuring effective stabilisation of processes transitioned
Engaging and leading stakeholders to adopt the globally standardized processes, with regional and local requirements customization required for legal/tax compliance.
Conducting regular trainings for teams in DBS to ensure process knowledge is updated
Championing culture of continuous improvement
