Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Professional background in engineering preferably in electrical/electronic products
Previous experience on a commercial role (Product Management/Sales/Marketing/Manufacturing Management) will be an asset
Familiarity and experience leveraging a commercial tool kit like VOC, Market Segmentation, Strategic Pricing, Customer communication etc. will be a plus
Fluent English level
Strong analytical, planning, forecasting and budgeting/financial skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
The ability to manage multiple, complex priorities
Availability for business travel (10-15%)
Assisting in the analysis of daily managerial situations impacting the assigned product lines (Switchgear connectors)
Providing product information to customers and/or the sales team
Supporting on documentation creation (data sheet, customer drawing, catalog and installation instruction)
Performing product cost analysis and supporting cost reduction projects
Following the creation of new part numbers
Analyzing excess and obsolete inventory
Gathering product specification and product attribute information for the development of marketing collateral
Coordinating and implementing product and applications training for customers, sales, customer service, applications engineering, etc.
Researching products and markets to maintain competitive intelligence
Gathering product-related customer feedback and ensuring customer satisfaction
Working with the engineering team to ensure products are released on time and per customer requirements (the review, understanding and communication of technical specifications and documentation is critical)
