Requirements:

  • Completed Master or MBA in Finance and Accounting
  • Min. 7 years of relevant experience as a Team Lead / Finance Manager role
  • Strong accounting and analytical knowledge
  • Good Excel skills,  Accounting systems experienced
  • Demonstrate experience in coaching, developing and empowering team members
  • Communication skills and service oriented towards the business and the EU Finance Team
  • Strong in applying company policies
  • Driven to optimize processes and support system implementation/changes


Responsibilities:

The Manager Financial SSC EU is responsible for building and operating the organization that will deliver financial services to the countries and to the EU Finance Team. This role is responsible for effectively managing the key functions like AP, AR and the GL, team lead and to deliver corporate services consistent with quality and cost efficiency criteria and best-in-class practices. The Manager Financial SSC provides direction to the Team Leads within the SSC and is the first contact for the EU Head of Finance for rolling out new policies. This position reports directly to the Head of the Global SSC.

  • Supervises staff, oversees the delivery of multi-disciplinary programs, policies, products, and services and prepares a variety of plans, strategies, reports and proposals
  • Oversees service delivery and the day-to-day operations of the SSC, ensuring that all standards are met and procedures are followed
  • Reviews and monitors SSC-related services to identify trends and problem areas, reporting on risks, key performance indicators and proposed corrective action or new approaches
  • Develops and implements new work methods and procedures of the SSC; recommends procedural changes to improve SSC efficiency and ensures appropriate implementation of decisions
  • Prepares and monitors the SSC budget
  • Plans and monitors staffing overseeing recruitment and any other administrative functions related to the smooth functioning of the SSC
  • Supervises staff, managing performance, staff development, training and careers
  • Oversees and ensures the smooth functioning of information systems required to deliver the services and the definition and implementation of changes required to maintain the systems operational and fit for purpose
  • Defines and ensures the implementation of Service Level Agreements; sets standards for quality and ensures that operational activities are implemented in accordance with recognized procedures
  • Establishes quality control mechanisms such as client surveys, periodic data quality assurance reviews, error escalation procedures
  • Continually improve processes to achieve more efficiency
  • Ensures accurate reporting of financial information to stakeholders in accordance with IFRS and company’s standards & policies
  • Month and year closing activities: responsible for the month end closing including P&L review, meeting deadlines regards MEC & Reporting pack, report on Balance sheet reconciliation, report VAT and local tax reports
