For our client, American automotive supplier and global product leader in delivering innovative and sustainable mobility solutions for the vehicle market, due to development of their New Technological Center (R&D) in Krakow, we are looking for a person for the following position: Cybersecurity Engineer 

Region: Kraków, małopolskie


Requirements:

  • Masters or Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics/Computer Science or similar
  • Experienced in CS risk assessments e.g. TARA and CS management e.g. CS plan
  • First experience in cryptography and cybersecurity concepts such as defense in depth, access control models, memory protection, secure boot, Secure Coding, public key infrastructure (PKI)
  • Knowledge of Automotive cybersecurity/Functional Safety standards are advised (e.g. ISO/SAE 21434, WP.29 SUMS & CSMS, ISO26262, NIST)
  • Understanding of cybersecurity specific testing such as penetration and fuzz testing
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Occasional travel, domestic and international


Responsibilities & tasks:

  • Plan and implement the cybersecurity activities for a given project with a collaborative team that takes into consideration customer specifications, the cybersecurity process and bring their own experience into what is needed
  • Perform cybersecurity risk assessments and threat modelling within a product scope
  • Create and maintain solutions to manage cybersecurity risks
  • Interface with customer on technical cybersecurity issues as well as monitor and keep up to date vulnerabilities (with customer and suppliers)
  • Work directly with Cybersecurity Managers to provide support on cybersecurity projects
  • Network and maintain a high-level of industry knowledge
  • Help promoting a cybersecurity culture
