Role purpose

The Supplier and Content Enablement Lead will be part of a programme team responsible for successfully delivering the source to pay (S2P) solution for Goods not for resale (GNFR) across the Kingfisher group. The planned solution is best of breed, enabling a simple user experience alongside advanced analytics to ensure we spend money wisely. Working across our retail banners (B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama, Brico Depot etc.) and in collaboration with the programme team and procurement colleagues, you will be tasked with ensuring timely delivery of the Supplier and Content Enablement workstream. This programme is a key component in our Finance strategy of driving effectiveness and efficiencies across the Finance Function - including our Global Business Services - in addition to delivering wider business benefits.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of supplier enablement experience in the Procurement industry, or related activities
  • Knowledge of procurement systems like Coupa
  • Experience of influencing and managing stakeholders at all levels
  • Understand, interpret, and articulate procurement policies and control requirements, especially under challenging situations
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels, in a multi-cultural environment
  • Deadline focused; ability to work under pressure, juggle competing priorities and deliver to timescales
  • Project management qualifications or experience are desirable
  • SAP ERP experience is highly desirable


Responsibilities

Work closely and effectively with the S2P delivery partner, programme manager and wider programme resources and banners to ensure that the data workstream delivers to plan including: 

  • Escalation liaison between Kingfisher and suppliers for all supplier onboarding activities and help navigate and resolve issues
  • Be the Kingfisher expert for Content and Supplier Enablement
  • Maintain an understanding of the requirements associated with managing a supplier onboarding programme and lead continuous improvements across Content and Supplier Enablement related processes
  • Track and document all enablement activities
  • Work with the Supplier and Content Enablement administrators and Group Procurement to onboard additional Kingfisher Banners and support existing Banners with BAU activities
  • Ensure the proper controls for maintaining our supplier database, including securing sensitive information, identifying, and gathering missing data
  • Respond to requests for process exceptions by investigating and combining appropriate solutions within guidelines and escalating unusual or complex issues/requests to the Programme Leadership Team
  • Mange Supplier Communications, Training, Webinars and Supplier sign up to Coupa
  • Implement Content working with Suppliers and Banners on the recommended approach determined in the Content Enablement Strategy
  • Establishing and maintaining a workstream delivery plan ensuring that milestones are clearly defined and communicated, and which is aligned with the overall programme plan
  • Work closely with the S2P Programme to ensure consistency with governance approaches, tools and templates, status updates, communication methodologies and so on, ensuring alignment with the overall ways of working within the Finance change programme
  • Support the Finance Change Director and Programme Team by the provision of clear and concise communication for onward discussion and decision making at Governance bodies
