TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Collect and analyze complex data to provide meaningful data trends and conclusions that help guide decision making
  • Execute tasks related to the ordering, expediting and follow up of purchase orders in our purchasing systems (SAP and Ariba)
  • Understand and use key financial indicators (TCO, Ebitda, ROI, payment terms, saving measures, etc.) to help make better business decisions
  • Create key business reports (KPI measures, project reporting, savings reporting, etc.) that provide meaningful insights to stakeholders and management
  • Use supplier relationship management skills and tools to track and develop vendor performance and vendor relationships

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in a purchasing or procurement related role of 2-3 years
  • Experience in working with SAP and Ariba is a plus
  • Experience in working/studying in an international environment is a plus
  • Experience in working in multi-functional teams
  • Fluency in English required, additional languages is a plus


Responsibilities:

  • Support the Category manager and/or Senior Buyer by collecting and analyzing the business requirements, key cost drivers, supplier capabilities and industry trends to develop and implement category sourcing strategies that will optimize overall value, while ensuring supply and quality
  • Identify stakeholder relationships to ensure business alignment with the category sourcing strategy and ensure continuous improvement of supplier performance
  • Negotiate supply agreements and contracts within the mandate and in line with internal procedures and expected service levels, quality requirements and financial conditions
  • Ensure supplier contracts are approved, stored and maintained according to internal procedures
  • Develop and grow relationships between key suppliers and key business stakeholders to ensure long term value
  • Execute operational tasks to order, expedite and follow up on key services and goods required to perform corporate and facility services tasks
  • Understand and adhere to the organization's policies and procedures and relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct
  • Continuously develop skills and capabilities by participating in formal and informal training, seeking out coaching and mentoring support and by developing industry understanding of technology, best practices and regulation
