Requirements:

• University diploma, preferably in Finance & Accounting or Law
• Experience on Leadership position
• Experience and practical knowledge in Accounting/Financial Reporting (experience in Tax area will be an asset)
• VAT Expertise (PL, DE, European Union) will be an asset
• SAP FI experience
• Practical knowledge of MS Office (advanced Excel knowledge would be benefit)
• Very good command of English
• Strong co-operation skills
• Customer orientation
• Highly independent and systematic approach to work
• Analytical and conceptual mindset
• Accuracy and attention to details
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (self-confidence and convincing skills)
• Availability for international travel

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of team consisting of Tax Accountants, Tax Specialists, Tax Global Subject Matter Experts and Tax Compliance Managers
• Control of tasks done worldwide within LGBS from Tax Area – proper set-up, check & reporting
• Building and maintaining cooperation with Lufthansa Group Tax Departments – supporting them in achieving group results and fulfilling audit requirements
• Direct contact with Business Units & local offices organization
• Coordination of migrations
• Preparing tax reports – Intrastat, EC Sales List, Aviation Tax, VAT declarations, GST
• Tax accounts reconciliation
• Coordination of implementation of new legal requirements
• Improving processes in collaboration with Process Owner, other Process Managers and Employees
