The Procurement Manager will be in charge of IT, Consulting and Managed Services Sourcing Buyers and will be responsible for internal and external interfaces of the department, procurement clusters, LHG Business Units and Suppliers. He/ she will also lead the team of Group Procurement Central from the disciplinary perspective. Procurement Manager promotes teamwork, provides employees with coaching and feedback for a medium size team and networks with other functions. He/she shall be part of the governance community core team.

What we are looking for:

• Master/Bachelor degree in Economics, Information Technology or similar
• Experience in leading a team (either functionally or disciplinarily)
• Experience in the SSC/BPO industry in the area of Procurement
• Understanding of IT industry and market trends will be an asset
• Experience in driving agile projects
• Knowledge of process improvement and standardization methodology and tools such as Lean management, Kaizen, Six Sigma
• Practical knowledge of Process Automation / Procurement department specific tools & applications e.g SRM Tools
• Familiarity with innovation management and KPI-Methods
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Very good German (written and spoken) – nice to have
• Very good command of MS office (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
• Analytical and conceptual mindset
• Strong co-operation and communication skills
• Highly independent and systematic approach to work
• Negotiation skills

• Manage business partner satisfaction (KPIs, Satisfaction Scores)
• Perform tender and tender-related activities, such as negotiations and contract finalizations
• Monitor supplier performance and identify potential risks and ensure continuous improvement of supplier performance, initiate countermeasures, if necessary
• Maintain procurement projects and saving results
• Ensure purchase of goods and services according to company guidelines
