Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a procurement role in a global or multinational organization.
  • Experience in project procurement is preferred.
  • Experience in chemical/refining/engineering/technical industry is preferred.
  • Experience sourcing complex technical or proprietary equipment, such as pressure vessels, process equipment or similar engineered products.
  • Strong negotiation, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with supplier selection, contract negotiation and supplier performance management.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams, project managers and international suppliers.
  • Experience with cost breakdowns and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis.
  • Technical background or a solid understanding of complex technical categories and supplier markets.
  • Proficiency in SAP, procurement systems and advanced Excel or analytical tools.
  • A proactive, structured and solution-oriented approach.
  • Open and honest communication.
  • Good command of English.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement activities for assigned customer projects, from RFQ through negotiation, purchase order placement, delivery follow-up and invoice handling.
  • Manage supplier performance and ensure the timely delivery of proprietary equipment.
  • Act as the main procurement contact for project teams and global suppliers.
  • Execute sourcing activities in line with category strategies and project requirements.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, purchasing conditions and project-specific agreements.
  • Identify savings opportunities and support cost optimization during project negotiations.
  • Prepare contracts for high-value commitments.
  • Monitor delivery progress, identify supply risks and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Category Managers on supplier selection and sourcing strategy.
  • Support the optimization of procurement processes, systems and purchasing tools.
  • Track, manage and report procurement KPIs.
  • Support colleagues through knowledge sharing, coaching and continuous improvement initiatives.
