Krakow Center is the main hub for the delivery organization including also central functions for the group companies covering both standard as well as customized processes for airline business. Besides operations, Krakow Center has also teams specialized in Process Management, Migration Support, Knowledge Management and Continuous Improvement.


Requirements:

  • Min. 3 years of experience &  successful track record directly managing strategic projects & programs of high complexity, significant ROI and scale, at regional or global level
  • Experience in managing project & program management teams with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong expertise in project and program management methodologies & technologies (PM certified, PMI / Prince 2 / other renowned project & program management certification
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent computer literacy, especially in MS Office and Project Management tools
  • Excellent people manager with strong interpersonal and executive communication skills
  • Proactive, can-do, problem solver, “nothing’s impossible”, team player attitude
  • Self-driven, independent leader, with strong decision making abilities
  • Stress management abilities
  • Great relationship builder - ability to quickly form working relationships, gain credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior management


Responsibilities:

The goal of the Project and Program Management Office Team Manager is to manage the local PPMO Team and to lead strategic Global Service Delivery programs delivering set objectives: Efficiency Program, IT and Business Cooperation Program, end-to-end Strategic Projects Portfolio Program; as well as leadership and implementation of key GSDC projects applicable across the organization globally. The mandate also covers comprehensive development, ownership and management of project and program management methodologies, standards, governances, toolsets, templates and trainings within the organization. The Efficiency Program management role covers co-accountability for delivery of Efficiency results – identification of gaps, driving “action/owner/deadline” approach, as well as full weekly/monthly/quarterly execution status reports & roadmaps.

 

Tasks:

  • People management of the Krakow PPMO team
  • Lead key GSDC programs (Efficiency, IT & Business, Strategic Projects Portfolio)
  • Lead key assigned GSDC-wide projects of high complexity
  • Provide full program and project dashboard reporting / performance reviews
  • Own GSDC standards and trainings related to project and program management
  • Support new business solutions and migration strategy
  • Support GSDC change management methodology and actions
  • Manage Operational Excellence Scorecard & contribute to GSDC Scorecard
