Krakow Center is the main hub for the delivery organization including also central functions for the group companies covering both standard as well as customized processes for airline business. Besides operations, Krakow Center has also teams specialized in Process Management, Migration Support, Knowledge Management and Continuous Improvement.


Requirements:

  • Experience in managing Quality Team of regional or global scale
  • Successful track record deploying Quality programs and projects
  • Successful track record deploying Efficiency and Optimization projects
  • Full expertise in Quality Management practices, standards and methodologies (i.e. Lean Six Sigma / Kaizen / Lean/ ISO 9001)
  • Black Belt certified
  • Very good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive and able to use initiative and creativity
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong decision making abilities
  • Stress management abilities
  • Ability to quickly form working relationships, gain credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior management


Responsibilities:

The goal of the Quality and Continuous Improvement Team Manager - Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is to manage the local Quality Team and to lead strategic Quality programs delivering set objectives: Quality Management Framework, Quality Performance Management (KPIs), Kaizen, Lean / Lean Express & Lean Workshops, Six Sigma (White-Yellow-Green Belt trainings, certifications and coaching), Productivity / Industrial Engineering, and Improvement Olympics. The role and the team are also accountable for defining, implementing and improving related program methodologies, frameworks, toolsets and templates. In addition the accountability also covers delivery of Quality-related projects like Centralized Quality Assurance, Cost Per Transaction, Performance Management System, and others; as well as identifying and leading Efficiency and Optimization projects, cooperating with Process Teams, Operations and Automation Team.

 

Tasks:

  • People management of the Krakow Quality Team
  • Lead strategic Quality programs locally
  • Lead assigned Quality programs globally
  • Deploy all Quality programs up to global standards
  • Develop and improve Quality program methodologies
  • Identify and deliver Quality-improvement projects
  • Identify and deliver Efficiency and Productivity projects
  • Benchmark Quality programs, projects, processes against industry best practices & implement / improve in the company
  • Drive Quality culture in the company
