New SSC launch in Łódź – We Are Building a New Accounting Team!

For our client – a global leader in innovative home appliances and intelligent ecosystem solutions, employing over 130,000 people worldwide – who is launching a new European Financial Shared Service Center in Łódź, we are currently looking for Accounts Payable Accountants to join the newly established finance team.

As an AP Accountant, you will take ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable process and actively contribute to building, standardizing, and optimizing financial operations in a brand-new SSC environment. Requirements:

  • 0–3 year of experience in Accounts Payable, accounting, or finance.
  • University degree (preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Economics).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Good English (spoken and written); additional European languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian, etc.) will be an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude.
  • Basic analytical skills and ability to work with data.
  • Familiarity with MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) will be an advantage but is not required.
  • Experience in process transition or Travel & Expense (T&E) accounting will be nice to have, but is not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter invoices and employee expense reports into the system.
  • Check if invoices and documents are correct and complete.
  • Support contact with vendors (e.g. help explain or resolve issues).
  • Assist with preparing payments.
  • Help reconcile vendor accounts.
  • Support the team during month-end closing.
  • Prepare simple reports in Excel.
  • Identify errors and report them to senior team members.
  • Take part in improving daily processes.
