Requirements:

• Min. 3-5 years of international, practical experience in IT project and IT demand management in major, multi-functional organizations
• Experience in managing of considerable projects
• General understanding of IT Service Management, IT Infrastructure, IT Architecture, IT application infrastructure
• Good functional and technical knowledge of HR IT systems, preferably Success Factors or SAP HR
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of German would be an asset
• Planning and organizational talent
• Analytical skills and accuracy
• Strong conceptual skills and problem solving competence
• Experience in conflict management

Responsibilities:

Based on his functional and technical expertise and background the HR IT Project Manager manages complex IT projects with high impact on business processes and business continuity. He/she assumes the responsibility for project delivery within agreed time and budget. The HR IT Project Manager is entrusted with projects in specific functional areas, mainly HR. Based on his/her knowledge the HR IT Project Manager manages (international) projects from first conceptual ideas to production rollout and coordinates all relevant parties and stakeholders inside and outside the LGBS organization.

• Manage the project from first planning stage to go live
• Ensure the proper planning of IT projects (time, budget, resources) in alignment with business needs and other IT projects
• Monitor project success on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and report project progress to the department lead/ IT lead/ overall project lead (in dependency of project)
• Manage risks regarding time, budget, resources and project scope proactively
• Develop ideas to improve the IT environment (infrastructure and tools) in the centre in cooperation with business teams
• Manage internal and external project resources as well as external suppliers on a daily basis
• Support implementation tasks on a hands-on level as needed, e.g. infrastructure setup, tool setup, requirements gathering, testing
• Ensure efficient cooperation and alignment with stakeholders in other Lufthansa organizations and locations
• Ensure proper project documentation including daily reporting
