Fixed Assets Accountant with German Ref. No: 8235

What we are looking for:

Master/Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Adminsitration or similar
Min. 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in GL/Fixed Assets
Experience with SAP is crucial (knowledge of SAP P03 will be an advantage)
Very good German skills (min. B2)
Good English skills
Strong analytical skills and good all-round MS Excel skills
Ability to work analytically, focus on details and high accuracy

In your new job you will:

Record in the accounting system newly acquired fixed assets and those disposed
Track, compile, and record project costs in fixed asset accounts; close out the accounts at the completion of the projects
Perform depreciation calculation for all fixed assets
Perform reconciliation of fixed asset subsidiary ledger balance with summary-level account in the general ledger
Perform an update on the detailed schedule of accumulated depreciation and fixed assets
Record fixed assets by creating and supervising a system of procedures, forms, and controls
Allocate tag numbers to fixed assets to effectively track them
Perform analysis related to fixed assets when requested by management
Be the first contact person for the Fixed Assets matters
Prepare audit schedules for fixed assets and help out auditors when they have inquiries
