VAT Specialist Ref. No: 7845

Our Client, an international company, is looking for Candidates for the position of: VAT Specialist.

Region: Olewin koło Olkusza , małopolskie

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Finance or similar with 5+ years’ experience in an international environment
  • VAT regulations working knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of accounting ERP systems and SSC/BPO sector would be an asset
  • Interest in process improvements, experience in transition projects would be an asset
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Self-starter and objective orientedProficient in English, preferably with one other spoken EU language (preference for German, French and/or Swedish

Responsibilities & tasks:

  • Analysis of IncoTerm and matching tables
  • Review of VAT records vs G/L
  • Monthly VAT reconciliation
  • Preparation of various monthly internal and external reports
  • Journal Entries for VAT declarations/corrections
  • Confirmation of credit notes by customers
  • Sample-check of documentation
  • Preparation of SAF-T files for tax authorities ("JPK")
  • VAT filings (Polish entities)
  • Consolidation of VAT information for Poland
  • Providing data for VAT returns to BPO (non-Polish entities)
  • Providing the required documentation for statutory and internal audits and for the preparation of annual financial statements
