Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Very good English
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in testing and validation, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Experience with test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, dynamometers, and signal generators
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of data analysis, 8D methodology, and Lean principles
  • Experience with C/C++, LabVIEW, TestStand, LabWindows, and microprocessor-based systems
  • Proficiency in Excel VBA and MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with engineering drawing tools (e.g., Visio, OrCAD)
  • Good project management and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel, including extended travel during the onboarding phase and occasional business trips thereafter

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of validation test systems for automotive power electronics, electronic assemblies, and drive module products
  • Coordinate validation activities throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept through production launch
  • Drive project execution by managing critical milestones and ensuring the timely delivery of test solutions
  • Define validation requirements, specify test equipment, and oversee procurement, installation, and commissioning activities
  • Evaluate and interpret test results to verify compliance with product specifications and customer requirements
  • Support the continuous improvement, optimization, and maintenance of validation equipment and testing processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust validation strategies and successful product launches
