System Administrator SAP Ariba Ref. No: 7821

For our Client - a global pharmaceutical company with SSC in Cracow- we are looking for candidate for a position of System Administrator SAP Ariba.

Region: Kraków, małopolskie


  • Expert knowledge on SAP Ariba solutions and best practices (3+ years)
  • University degree (Finance or IT)
  • English – C1
  • SAP Ariba certification
  • Knowledge of procurement operations and/or e-procurement tools (5+ years)
  • SAP MM knowledge
  • Basic understanding of ERP integration via middleware and direct connect
  • Affinity with IT and experience deploying IT solutions or acting as a super user for IT solutions
  • Being able to work to tight deadlines and with switching priorities 
  • Proactive and creative in terms of improving ways of working 
  • Self-starter: pro-actively seeking for areas for improvement, optimization and support
  • Ability and desire to translate complex Procurement and IT concepts to individuals at all levels 
  • Able to work independently and efficiently in multinational & virtual team
  • Training and coaching skills
  • Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities

Responsibilities & tasks:

  • Maintaining and customizing SAP Ariba system and assisting with system defect identification
  • Identifying, testing and implementing process changes
  • Working closely with Global Process Owner, IT Solution architects, Corporate Procurement and SAP Ariba Vendor on the technical solution and approach - assist in the development of processes and procedures, which will leverage SAP Ariba solutions in the organization
  • Leading the final configuration of the solution and provide the customer with guidance on user acceptance testing and support in resolving issues/defects
  • Continually improving system based on feedback and use cases – partnering on Continuous Improvement agenda with Global Process Owner
  • Responsible for the analysis, verification and documentation of the RfC (Request for Change)
  • Providing trainings to employees (system users) in GBS and Line of Business
  • Promoting the agreed support procedures including relevant documentation – analyses the Business needs and technical requirements to suggest the most efficient (business and financial wise) solution
