KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Public Media or Digital Marketing

Job Experience

  • 3-5 years of social media or public relations experience within an agency environment or established corporation (global preferred)
  • Project management experience with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and work within tight deadlines
  • Experience developing and implementing social media strategy on a wide variety of platforms
  • Experience utilizing integrated social media management platforms, such as Sprinklr or Hootsuite, to schedule content, analyze data and measure results
  • Experience overseeing and executing social budgets across multiple platforms

Knowledge and Skills

  • Must have a solid understanding and demonstrated passion of social media channels
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cooperative efforts and facilitate constructive discussion among a wide range of cross-functional partners
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proofreading skills with an eye for correct grammar and an ear for good copy
  • Strong visual sense with the ability to evaluate photography graphic layouts for both style and impact
  • Strong foundation of content marketing platforms
  • Understanding of brand structure and hierarchy
  • Strong analytical, planning and prioritization skills
  • Familiarity with Google, Facebook and other social media analytics (Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, etc.)
  • A drive for results and ability to achieve results through teams, exerting influence without direct authority
  • A passion for keeping up with media and digital trends
  • Ability to efficiently work in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with customer journey oriented digital and social marketing, as well as experience using social media for lead generation


RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The Social Media Senior Specialist position is responsible for governing and approving social media content together with corporate communication and SBU’s, considering and planning into the needs of various business units across borders, markets, time-zones and cultures to achieve goals. This role also requires an understanding of content strategy and brand-loyalty to drive results, with the goal of turning fans into customers through social media efforts.

  • Serve as internal social media go-to person demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the social media environment and providing social insights and best practices to groups across the Company
  • Govern the established social media strategy, guidelines, and policy, creating compelling content for social platforms, ultimately driving followers, engagement, and conversation
  • Manage content-flow, approvals and publishing to social media profiles daily, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Coordinate and collaborate with teams in various regions to determine social media content, including developing and executing social media campaigns and promotional strategies
  • Develop, together with experts, a strategy on how we can best monitor social platforms daily, including social listening, to listen to and engage with existing social media conversations to build relationships with key external stakeholders
  • Continuously stay updated on industry trends and track competitors through social platforms
  • Analyze social data regularly and distribute findings to the internal teams through reports to provide recommendations on how to improve content performance
  • Research and stay up to date on industry trends and company news to contribute well-written articles on the website as needed
  • Collaborate with corporate public relations and crisis management teams as needed
  • Closely collaborate with global and regional digital and marketing automation specialists on executing campaigns via the customer journey centric model and ensuring efficient lead management practices
  • Execute strategies via the new Content Marketing Platform tool – become proficient in both the management of the tool and oversee all social projects towards developing and publishing content
