Senior Master Data Transformation and Governance Manager Ref. No: 7454

For our client, Shared Service Center in Cracow, we are looking for the candidate for the position described below. 

Region: Kraków, małopolskie


Requirements:

  • 6-12 years working experience with the business and technical aspects of data governance, master data management, and data management implementations
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills with ability to present high impact material in front of both small and large groups
  • Proven ability to resolve complex problems across multiple business and IT stakeholder groups in an effective and timely manner required
  • Minimum of three years of experience with information management and/or data governance frameworks
  • Understanding of data governance best practice principles
  • Experience creating KPI’s and formal leadership reporting
  • Ability to positively influence, mentor, and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
  • Ideally extensive experience working with SAP or a similar ERP
  • Strong understanding of how data management can lead to enhanced capabilities in reporting and analytics, with a clear track record of delivering benefits in this area
  • Experience in managing multiple data objects including: Finished goods, Vendor, Purchased Materials, Customers and Financial
  • Strong understanding of how data management can lead to enhanced capabilities in reporting and analytics, with a clear track record of delivering benefits in this area
  • Fluent in business level English


Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of Data management turning an established data governance strategy and objectives into tactical implementation and execution of processes, tools, and organizational change
  • Prepare presentation materials, coordinate, facilitate, and perform follow-up activities in support of Data Governance Committee meetings
  • Coordinate business collaboration across the enterprise by data owners and data stewards and act as their primary centralized point of contact
  • Act as final reviewer and administrator for enterprise-wide master data management and metadata management efforts (data definitions, processes, tools, strategy, etc.)
  • Assist with the creation of data governance processes, policies, governance KPI’s and coordinate the execution and roll-out of assurance activities with data owners
  • Create, institutionalize, and assure data management best practices
  • Provide guidance and drive selection of tools/platforms to enable governance
  • Collaborate with business and IT leaders to establish and maintain a data governance roadmap through a deep understanding of the current state and the evolving business requirements for enterprise data governance needs
  • Apply creative problem-solving skills to data governance efforts in a way that satisfies business leaders’ needs and lays the groundwork for future successes
  • Ensure that key data governance artifacts (documentation, definitions, processes, policies, etc.) are created, controlled, managed, and maintained over time
  • Establish and report data quality and data governance metrics
  • Continually look for new ways to improve data governance using actionable opportunities to increase efficiencies and improve the customer experience
