What do you need to have?

  • Experience in automation transformation programmes in GBS organisation
  • Track record of delivery of significant changes to processes, technology and ways of working that deliver value to the business
  • Experience in identifying automation opportunities, enable process redesign and applying innovative and creative solutions to solve issues
  • Automation project management experience
  • Track record of building automation capability and team from scratch
  • Experience with Excel macros (VBA) or MS Office automations is a must, programming experience in a common language will be an asset (Python, SQL, VB.NET, JavaScript etc.)
  • Knowledge of RPA software (BluePrism, UiPath or others)
  • Understanding of data flows, finance and procurement processes, especially within SAP environment
  • You are a problem solver, determined to find the most optimal solution to business challenges
  • You are energetic and assertive, collaborative, resilient and motivated by challenges 

What will you be responsible for?

  • Providing direction and leadership in shaping the strategy and transformation journey for Automation in GBS
  • Working closely with Global Process Owners through shaping of solution, creating initiatives roadmap and delivery
  • Building a high calibre Automation team capable of delivering GBS ambition
  • Coaching and developing talent as well as building the right capabilities in line with the latest trends for Automation  
  • Managing all aspects of project delivery
  • Managing service performance in line with SLAs and KPIs and other targets
  • Managing and solving escalations
  • Supporting global complex transformation programmes, where automation is a key enabler
  • Identifying and managing resources required for delivery
  • Maintaining and managing a portfolio of automation opportunities that deliver new value and enhance results provided by GBS  
  • Delivering incremental cost savings, efficiencies and new sources of value
  • Managing governance for delivery of portfolio of GBS automation programmes
  • Deploying and reinforcing continuous improvement practices
  • Encouraging teams to create and build new solutions to improve quality of service
