Our Client, an international  company, is looking for Candidates for the position of: Senior Accountant

Region: Olewin koło Olkusza , małopolskie

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Finance or similar with 5+ years’ experience in an international environment  
  • Well-rounded professional with experience in General Ledger, Account Receivables and Account Payables Accounting
  • Knowledge of accounting ERP systems and SSC/BPO sector would be an asset
  • Interest in process improvements, experience in transition projects would be an asset
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Self-starter and objective oriented
  • Proficient in English, preferably with one other spoken EU language (preference for German, French and/or Swedish

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly accounts reconciliations
  • Various J/V preparation and postings including accruals, provisions and other
  • Support the month-end closing process – consolidation, GiT’s, F/A and other
  • Preparation of various monthly internal and external reports  Submission of month-end Interim Statements per Group deadlines
  • Support local and global continuous improvement and individual projects
  • Manage banking activities 
  • Maintain fixed assets register
  • Prepare tax provisions schedules, payments, reports and maintain a company's tax database. Participate in finding tax solutions to tax issues or errors 
  • Providing the required documentation for statutory and internal audits and for the preparation of annual financial statements
