RTR Senior Accountant with French Ref. No: 8043

For our Client we are looking for RTR Senior Accountant with French, who will work with the General Ledger team in the newly established Finance Shared Service Center. 

Region: Kraków, małopolskie


  • 3+ years of experience in RtR / GL accounting
  • Very good command of English (B2/C1)
  • Communicative level of French (at least B1/B2)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • MS Office skills
  • Knowledge of any ERP system (i.e. SAP, Oracle, iScala) will be an asset
  • Knowledge of SOX controls
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and self-management skills
  • Experience of working in Shared Service Centre/Retained/Outsourced environment will be an asset


  • R2R regional performance and delivery
  • Work with MD’s, Controllers and group to identify and implement continuous improvements in processes, systems and procedures
  • Ensure that all activities and the deployment of resources within the region are consistent with its objectives
  • Ensure that close process is completed in accurate and timely manner
  • Perform review of both Balance Sheet and P&L
  • Manage preparation of all statutory compliance documentation in region
  • Responsible for reporting, closing and review of journal entries
  • Financial Statements and External Reporting
  • Preparation and oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures as outlined in policy manuals and in accordance with local statutory requirements
  • Oversee all financial transactional activity, including; accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll and ensure that all financial transactions and journal entries are recorded accurately in accordance with organization policies, GAAP and governmental regulations (within dedicated region)
  • Review key monthly account analyses; bank reconciliations, G/L to subsidiary ledger reconciliation
  • Staying abreast of trends and changes in the accounting field and capacity builds department on such
  • Manage accounting of dedicated region
  • Cash Management (forecast/allocation)

Shared services build project responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development and execution of department structure, assistance in creating detailed process design, job content and transition plan
  • Enable BU involvement and ownership
  • Gain buy-in from local MD and Regional Controllers
  • Lead migration of R2R processes from the regions to SSC
