Our Client is a global leader in providing  products and systems within healthcare and life sciences which is active in over 40 countries. The company is expanding rapidly and will double in size over the coming years. The company’s SSC in Krakow provides mainly financial, customer service and HR services to the entities within the Client’s Group.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in finance and accounting with strong background in General Ledger,
  • Proficiency in reading financial statements
  • 4+ years of leadership experience in Record to Report process leading the process and supporting multiple countries / business units
  • Experience with OtC process will be of advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Very good customer service skills and strong customer driven focus
  • Pro-activeness, improvements driver
  • Positive attitude and open minded
  • Fluent in written and spoken English language
  • Possibility to work the second shift to cover US time zone during month end and when required during the month; if preffered it is possible to work entirely the second shift but is not a requirement


Responsibilities:

  • Manage RtR accounting operations and ensure high quality of accounting, compliance with company accounting finance manual and IFRS in close cooperation with legal entities finance departments
  • Manage OtC processes of cash allocation, cash collection and dispute mgt and ensure high quality of delivery, targets execution and compliance with accounting guidelines and group directives
  • Ensure that new directives/accounting policies/standards are implemented in operations
  • Review and ensure the quality of monthly and annual reporting
  • Actively drive processes standardization and process improvements to simplify and improve the productivity within RtR and OtC
  • Monitor Internal Control and compliance for the RtR and OtC operations
  • Manage the team of 6 team leaders (4 RtR and 2 OtC) and department accounting to 80+ employees
  • Drive key projects and initiatives for RtR and OtC
  • Drive performance mindset by setting up proper KPIs and metrics into the processes
