Experience / Personal Qualities:

  • Min. 5 years’ experience in similar role
  • Knowledge of business and system solutions and experience with implementing applications
  • Experience in Business Analysis and Project Management
  • Very good understanding of Ariba modules, knowledge in overall process flow between Ariba upstream and downstream
  • Experience of SAP and VIM
  • Experience in Master data setup within Ariba and from SAP Hana
  • Experience of at least one full life cycle projects for environments like SAP ARIBA from Blueprint, Realization, Migration, Cut-over, Training, Go-Live, Stabilization
  • Knowledge of business and system solutions and experience with implementing applications.
  • Experience in Business Analysis and Project Management
  • University diploma (Business / Finance / Economy / Management)
  • Understanding of Finance & Accounting and Procurement processes
  • Ability to influence the senior management
  • Fluency in English


About The Role:

The Procurement System Manager will lead team that is responsible for the content and transformation/change of the platforms through which Dyson engages and transacts with its wide array of Suppliers.  The chosen Dyson landscape is SAP Ariba for Source to Receipt including the onboarding and risk assessment of suppliers. Supplier invoicing is captured within S4 Hana and Vendor Invoice Management.

Procurement System Manager holds overall responsibility and accountability for Procurement Systems and delivery of high-quality service for all processes within Source to Pay process area including Supplier Onboarding, Sourcing, Contract Management, Guided Buying and payment process.

Specific Tasks:

  • Manages Team of System experts, creates strong and effective team motivated towards effective performance and objectives realization of targets
  • Coordinate all system related project manage by the team
  • Provides technical and functional expertise in the area of Indirect Source to Pay system functionalities
  • Supports Global Process Owners in setting the transformation agenda and driving process improvements and digitalisation.
  • Continually support the Business as it develops its procurement performance and supplier engagement
  • Seek and deliver opportunities to streamline Ariba and VIM workflows and system processes
  • Coordinate with our external solution partners and Dyson teams to improve performance and efficiency of procurement systems, driving optimisation
  • Cooperate with the offshore global operational teams to ensure efficiency of the processes and system utilization
  • Maintain effective stakeholder engagement through timely and appropriate communication, clear and concise training & knowledge material and regular touch points
  • Ensures adherence to controls and audit requirements while execution of processes
