Requirements:

  • Master/Bachelor degree or at least accomplished 3rd year of studies
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in Procurement area
  • Very good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Command of German (written and spoken) would be an asset
  • Good command of MS office and Windows applications
  • Good command of Procurement related tools
  • Diligent, independent and systematic approach to work

Responsibilities:

The Procurement Specialist – Supplier Qualification will primarily support the LH Procurement organization by delivering global supplier onboarding & maintenance, risk assessment and due diligence of the requested suppliers.

The individual will assist with the review and will be responsible for the coordination and processing of supplier deviations and supplier change notifications as well as various other supplier quality activities related to Business Partner Due Diligence & financial risk assessment.

  • Executes independently standard and complex screening processes from the area of supplier qualification
  • Acts as a point of contact for the screening process
  • Completes the due diligence checks (Sanctions, Anti Bribery and Corruption checks, financial, reputational, legal) by looking into various databases, search engines, risk tools
  • Assesses the risk, and recommend mitigation plan
  • Reviews data obtained during supplier qualification/risk management activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures
  • Manages/collects/loads all necessary documents for suppliers e.g. regulatory/compliance documentation in the database
  • Ensures a strong governance mechanism is in place for effective supplier onboarding
  • Handles Escalations (conducts error analyses and provides comprehensive solution to the end customer upon approval of supervisor)
  • Supports Manager and Senior employees in operational tasks (calls, statistics, reports, workshops etc.)
  • Develops and updates internal procedures; acts as Subject Matter
  • Provides training for New Hires
