Senior Quality Engineer Ref. No: 8466

For our Client, a leading global retail company, we are hiring IT Specialists for their Cracow business center.

Region: Kraków, małopolskie

Around min. 5 years of proven quality engineering experience and proficiency in some of the following testing areas:

General programming for tests scripts using C#, Python SQL, Bash, Powershell or Javascript
Web test Automation, preferably with Selenium WebDriverIO
Mobile test automation, preferably with Appium or Detox
API test automation, preferably with RestSharp or Postman
Experience with testing cloud hosted solutions and cloud specific services
Demonstrated experience in: Business-Driven-Development, Estimation, Code Review
Ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements into test plans
Knowledge of both manual and automated testing tools and techniques
Self-initiates work responsibly and has a significant role in the assignment of tasks and/or responsibilities

Ensure quality of releases and alignment to customer requirements (large-scale, global e-commerce platforms and other interdependent systems)
Contribution to effective project planning for delivery of outcomes
Contribution to transparency in project status and reporting
Drive a shared understanding of testing requirements and coverage across business and technical stakeholders
Define, Execute, Plan and improve testing in: Functional testing, Production Verification testing, Regression testing, Load and Performance testing, Accessibility testing
Prepare and execute test plans and steps as required
Create and maintain automated test suites
Increase the coverage of regression testing with each assignment
Research and develop technical ideas and suggest them to your engineering discipline team members; identify and act on areas of improvement in our technology and processes
Collaborate with the broader delivery group to solve problems
Mentoring other Quality Engineers in how to do their work both technically and in process/way of working
