A global technology company focussed on designing and manufacturing highly innovative products across its market sectors. This company continues to have rapid global growth and is looking for ambitious and forward thinking individuals to join a newly established Global Business Service Centre in Cracow that forms part of the future operating model. 

Region: Kraków, małopolskie


Requirements:

  • Experience in Human Resources Management or similar role: recruitment, talent development, compensation & benefits, legal issues, organisational and management issues
  • Experience of working as a strategic business partner, preferably in newly  established  Shared Services offices
  • Experience of working with or within entrepreneurial, engineering or technology organisations would be desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with proven planning and time management skills and the ability to deal with and prioritise both strategic and day-to-day requirements
  • Understand local market requirements
  • Project management skills
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills
  • Coaching skills and a passion for developing people
  • An understanding of change management both operationally and strategically
  • Excellent communication and team work skills
  • Very good English skills


Responsibilities:

  • Building a strong and trusted relationship with the Centre Head, other centre leaders, company HQ and People function leadership team
  • Ensuring the people dimension is fully integrated into the business strategies and plans and an integral component of GBS’ success
  • Working closely with Centre Head and GBS leadership to drive, build, change and transform GBS
  • Have a deep understanding of GBS recruitment plans, ensure GBS hits it’s headcount recruitment targets and gets the best talent
  • Building an effective GBS organisation that is fit for purpose, acquiring and retaining the right talent
  • Coach, challenge and influence senior leadership to develop the organisational capability required to enable delivery of GBS strategy; anticipate the changing needs of the business and drive an active management and development of talent
  • Leading the talent agenda for GBS, understanding the key talent needs, strengths and development opportunities and actively participate in talent management discussions with the GBS teams working in partnership with the talent teams
  • Champion and manage core people processes including performance, annual salary reviews and personal development plans
  • Take an active role in the budget planning to develop rationale for future years headcount, taking into consideration future business plans
  • Ensuring management information is up to date and accessible as appropriate including Talent Management information and Succession plans. Contribute to relevant HR KPIs and reports for your business areas.
  • Providing advice, consultancy and counsel on HR policy and practice
