What do you need to have?

• 3-6 years of experience in master data management, where you managed supplier, vendor, customer and other types of data
• Transformation experience
• Expert knowledge of the function of master data in SAP system (S/4 HANA will be an asset)
• Understanding of data flows, finance and procurement processes
• Experience in tracking record of delivery of changes to processes, technology and ways of working  for MDM
• Experience in identifying master data improvement opportunities, enable process redesign and applying innovative and creative solutions to solve issues
• Understanding  how new technologies can be applied to improve processes, elevate customer experience and drive cost to serve down

What will you be responsible for?

As a Master Data Management Continous Improvement Lead  you will be responsible for managing delivery of MDM projects across the Company, as well as manage smaller Continous Improvement initiatives.  The range of your responsibilities will include three areas:

 

Providing MDM expertise:

• Acting as an expert for MDM globally, supporting the business and an outsourcing partner
• Ensuring a high level of master data integrity through appropriately governed, efficient, user-friendly processes
• Providing MDM subject matter expert guidance and support to the global business and guidance to business development and improvement projects, where there is an MDM dependency
• Understanding business requirements, how the data is used and the impact of poor quality data on the business operation and propose remedy solutions
• Defining, measuring and analysing data quality metrics

Continous improvement and transformation:

• Supporting the MDM team to ensure that the processes are continually developed to meet changing business requirements
• Leading various continuous improvement and transformation projects for master data, especially automation and robotisation of MDM, designing new processes and modifying existing ones
• Directing the outsourcing partner to effectively modify MDM processes and procedures

Stakeholder management and business partnering:

• Updating and training the MDM service provider in new ways of working , providing support where appropriate
• Championing self-service solutions for submitting MDM requests, viewing master data reports and ensuring provision of high quality master data
• Working with the outsourcing partner and operational teams, reviewing and discussing results and working in partnership to drive for improvements in performance
