Junior Finance Operations Specialist

For our Client, an international corporation, we are looking for candidates who are eager to gain professional experience and develop their skills in the finance field.

Requirements:

  • Some experience in a corporate environment, including internships.
  • Experience working with financial or non-financial documents.
  • Very good command of English (at least B2 level).
  • Knowledge of German (at least B1 level).
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Basic understanding of AI tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Creative thinking and openness to new ideas and ways of working.
  • A positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor bank accounts and ensure incoming payments are correctly recorded and allocated.
  • Process payments, internal transfers, and insurance-related settlements, including claim offsets.
  • Work across key areas, including invoicing, collections, and cash application, to ensure smooth end-to-end processes.
  • Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with brokers on overdue accounts and payment-related queries.
  • Review contracts and insurance documents to ensure financial information, including premium details, is accurate.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and financial data in internal systems.
  • Perform quality checks on invoicing, payment processing, and collections activities.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports to support business decision-making.
  • Monitor collection activities and identify opportunities to improve existing processes.
  • Support statement of account (SOA) processes and contribute to system improvements.
