Group Tax And Statutory Reporting Expert Ref. No: 8387

For our client’s Global Business Service Center based in Krakow, we are looking for candidates who are willing to develop their professional career in the area of finance & accounting.

You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Group Tax reporting, Corporate Tax compliance and Statutory reporting processes for the assigned countries in EMEA region. As an Expert, you will also support your manager in various developing activities such as ad-hoc coordination and governance activities.

Requirements

  • Strong accounting expertise, able to act as focal point between different stakeholders, multitask and meet fixed deadlines
  • Extensive hands-on experience in accounting, tax reporting, compliance, and statutory reporting in an international environment, including managing local statutory compliance for European countries and CIT calculations
  • Deep understanding and practical experience in complex group tax reporting, consolidation, and proficiency in Excel and SAP
  • Professional proficiency in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
  • Critical mindset to challenge existing tools and processes, promoting business development, and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage changing priorities, and effectively handle time constraints and deadlines


Responsibilities

  • Prepare statutory filings in line with Local GAAP, including notes and disclosures
  • Prepare consolidated group tax notes for Group Consolidated Financial Statements and co-manage periodic group tax reporting
  • Collaborate with external providers for corporate tax calculations and tax return preparations
  • Reconcile local GAAP with IFRS and coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and internal stakeholders
  • Support external audits, liaise with auditors, and coordinate audit deliverables
  • Interpret and implement local accounting policies/standards, handle miscellaneous reporting filings (e.g., CbCR), and drive improvements in compliance, quality, and process efficiency
