AP Accountant with German or French Ref. No: 8044

For our Client we are looking for AP Accountant with German or French language, who will work with the Accounts Payable team in the newly established Finance Shared Service Center. 

Region: Kraków, małopolskie

Requirements:

  • Degree in accounting or business finance
  • Work experience in accounting
  • At least good command of German or French  (B2)
  • At least good command of English (B2)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • MS Office skills
  • Knowledge of any ERP system (i.e. SAP, Oracle, iScala) will be an asset
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Must be process driven and well organized
  • Experience of working in Shared Service Centre/Retained/Outsourced environment will be an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of due diligence and work shadowing
  • Work shadowing / reverse work shadowing
  • Transition activities
  • Creation of process documentation
  • Interaction with various parties to address and work on potential issues
  • Perform data entry associated with Accounts Receivable
  • Work towards department objectives
  • Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
  • Receive, scan and process invoices & credit notes
  • Reconcile the AP balance sheet accounts (GRIR) and create AP accruals
  • Query resolution & disputes Accounts Payable reporting
  • Payments processing & review
  • Responsible for Master Data (Vendors/Customers/Product)
  • Other activities within AP area
  • Improvement projects within AP area
